Week 1…again

Today I went for my first walk/jog in over a month.  It was COLD!!  I did the first week of couch to 5k with an extra 1/8 mile walk to warm up and then cool down for a total of 1 1/4 mile.  The hip with bursitis felt fine during the jog but is now a little tender.  Of course, so are my calves.  So, hopefully it’s just soreness from exercising after such a long break.  My legs felt fine during the jog intervals, but my breathing was heavy.  I’m just not sure how much of it was because of the cold or because I’m just that out of shape.

It seems that some of my weight gain is just water weight, because I dropped 3.6 pounds yesterday.  I wish it would all come off that easily and quickly.
