Full Moon

Saturday night we went back to Ruffner Mountain for a moonlight hike.  We hiked to the overlook where we could see the city skyline and the airport.  Unfortunately, the moon was behind us covered by the trees.  But, the little bit we could see was still gorgeous.  It was orange as it rose and then big and bright as is shown through the trees on our way down the mountain.  Except for a quick snake sighting (by others, who weren’t running from it like me), the night was perfect.

Sad how the moon is so ginormous until you take a picture of it, and then it still just looks like a tiny little spec.
